Morgan & Joe’s Colorful Wedding at Osbornia Farm in Lancaster County PA

Morgan and Joe got married in September of 2022 at the absolutely STUNNING Osbornia Farm in Lancaster County PA.

Many months later and I’m still completely in love with this day. Not only were Morgan and Joe the absolute SWEETEST couple but they opted for a color packed wedding, curated such beautiful details, and hired the most amazing and cohesive vendor team-which all made for an amazing wedding day!

Speaking of color….colorful weddings are seeming to be the trend for 2023 and 2024 which I am absolutely THRILLED about.

I hope this blog post provides you with some inspiration of how colorful florals can be incorporated into all aspects of your wedding day design.

wedding party Bouquets

Morgan opted for neutral taupe bridesmaid dresses so the colorful florals could pop against them. Choosing a neutral bridesmaid/attendant dress can ensure your flowers make a statement and don’t clash with whatever color palette you end up deciding on.

Signage

Morgan designed her own signage (can we say-SUPER TALENTED). She had an idea to incorporate colorful dried flowers (she picked them up from me in advance of the wedding) onto her welcome sign and seating chart which I am aboslutely obsessed with. Additionally she created these absolutely colorful table numbers that I think coordinated perfectly with the rest of the florals!

Bud Vase Centerpieces

For this wedding the couple opted for all bud vase arrangements on their rectangular reception tables. The couple collected all different shape/sized glass bud vases and I happily filled them with lots of colorful stems of flowers. Bud vases are a great cost effective way to add color to a reception table.

repurposed wedding bouquets & arch florals

I absolute LOVE how the couple’s wedding party bouquets and ceremony arch florals were repurposed onto both the *giant cookie* cake table (soo unique!) and around the sweetheart table!

Here’s what the couple had to say about their experience with WFD: “You MUST book Woodland Floral Design Co. immediately! Misha is just the absolute best! She is so kind, passionate, knowledgeable, and patient. During our first consult, we gave her a brief idea of what we were looking for, but ultimately trusted her and gave her the freedom to do her thing & work her magic. She exceeded our expectations!!! Our guests gushed over our florals - especially the bouquet. I don’t think I’ll ever get over them. Made my floral dreams come true!!”

This day was so incredibly intentional and intimate, and I was so incredibly grateful to be a part of their wedding day. Thank you for trusting me Morgan & Joe as your florist!'

The vendor team for this wedding was an absolute DREAM team.
