A Bridgerton-Inspired Hershey Gardens Wedding: West Coast Woodlands Meets English Garden Charm

This stunning Bridgerton-inspired wedding took place in the picturesque Hershey Gardens blending the lush beauty of the landscape with our unique, locally sourced floral design. The couple, hailing from Washington state, wanted to incorporate their West Coast roots into the enchanting garden vibes, and we were thrilled to bring that vision to life.

Our floral approach was intentional and deeply rooted in the local landscape. Partnering with our local flower farmers, Swallowtail, Riverside, and the Rock and River Collective, we focused on florals that were not only abundant but also complementary to the existing blooms at the garden venue. Since the space was already filled with flowers, we concentrated on areas that needed an extra touch of beauty—spaces where the blooms could flourish and make sense within the natural setting.

To honor the couple’s Washington heritage, we incorporated moss and ivy into the design, creating a delicate yet striking nod to the Pacific Northwest. This added an earthy, textured layer that seamlessly blended with the soft garden aesthetic. The couple’s love for pastel colors guided our flower choices, and since they adored peonies, we went all in. Alongside peonies, we used plenty of campanula and foxglove, as they were in abundance locally, bringing a whimsical, almost fairytale-like charm to the floral installations.

The ceremony space was particularly special. For the first time, we created a full meadow aisle—a lush, natural pathway that added a truly breathtaking touch of whimsy. After the ceremony, we repurposed the ceremony florals, moving everything into the reception space by the windows and around the sweetheart table, ensuring the flowers remained the focal point throughout the night.

This wedding was unique in its intimacy (with under 100 guests) and scale—being our largest project ever, even with no wedding party. Every ounce of the floral budget went into creating awe-inspiring installations, making it an absolutely unforgettable celebration.
