A Peachy Autumn Wedding at Terrain at Styers

October 28, 2023

Jada and Dave’s wedding was a perfect blend of garden-inspired florals and autumnal charm, and it all came together at the iconic Terrain at Styers. As the end of the local flower season approached, dahlias were one of the few local blooms still available, and we handpicked them ourselves from Tuckey's farm. These beautiful dahlias became the centerpiece of our design, especially the ceremony installation,  while we infused lush fall leaves into the arbor to seamlessly coordinate with the natural setting of Terrain at Styers.

The bride wanted to go big on the chapel arch, a Terrain staple, and we delivered with a grand, eye-catching installation that balanced both garden vibes and fall tones. Our dear friend and mentor, Mandy, flew all the way from Utah to help bring this vision to life, making the day even more special for us and our couple. We used a color palette of peach, orange, and blush to create that perfect blend of late summer warmth and early autumn richness. To add a luxurious touch to the bouquet, we chose a terracotta velvet ribbon that made it feel lush and textured.

An MVP of the day was the one and only Caroline Morris- a favorite wedding photographer of ours. Her expertise and creativity always elevate the weddings we get to collaborate on. Creamery Hill also brought amazing custom elements to Jada and Dave’s wedding day, from a sentimental, custom seating chart including  lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Timeless”, to cozy lounge areas and tableware that tied everything together beautifully.

One of the sweetest moments for us was when the bride gifted us thank-you presents for both of our pets (we equally celebrate cat and dog people!), along with thoughtful gifts for us. It was such a thoughtful and touching moment and one we’ll always cherish.

As a nod to their love for animals, Jada and Dave also offered guests dog and cat treats and toys as wedding favors, making sure their love for pets was shared with everyone.

Jada and Dave’s gorgeous Fall wedding at Terrain at Styers was filled with love, thoughtfulness, and so many personal touches! We couldn’t have asked for a kinder couple to celebrate and know they’ll continue to flourish in their marriage! Congratulations, Jada and Dave.

I knew when we connected that I wanted to put everything in your arms and let you run with it. I knew I could give you my day and you’d create something magical. I cannot believe what your talented mind and hands created for me.”

“Misha…where do I even begin….I have been crying all morning (well and I cried all day yesterday). But I need you to know how thankful I am for you. I was telling Kelsey [Creamery Hill], and everyone that when I envisioned my wedding day I could have never in a million years dreamt up what you all created for me yesterday.

I knew when we connected that I wanted to put everything in your arms and let you run with it. I knew I could give you my day and you’d create something magical. I cannot believe what your talented mind and hands created for me. I felt so special and unworthy of what you did for me.

I remember when I first told people I was so excited for my florals because I love florals, so many would say ‘oh but do you even really need that, terrain is already so beautiful.’ I knew I needed you and I’d say to any one who thinks a space is ‘good enough’ because it’s not, you get married once…Florals are EVERYTHING.

Every one at the wedding had so much to say about your florals and they were unbelievably blown away by you. Thank you so so much for creating the most perfect focal part of our wedding. I can’t stop crying at the pictures of the arch and my bouquet and honestly everything. You know I already paid for my bouquet preservation pressing weeeeeks ago . I felt like someone famous with that in my hands I can’t believe it’s all mine.

Everything was perfect and I’m speechless (or am I?). But Misha I’m serious, I hope you know how talented and valued you and your art are. I can never ever ever repay you with enough love and thanks for what you created yesterday. What you sit/stand and do with your hardworking hands day in and day out for couples like us is something I hope you’re so proud of. I hope you had a nice time yesterday too setting up in that amazing weather that we somehow got blessed with. Thank you forever and ever”

-Jada
